At times in sports and life I have found myself in what I call, and many others refer to as, a “hole.” It’s a place I put myself into for the most part. It’s where nothing goes right and everything goes wrong. For some strange reason I believe that the same logic that got me there will get me out.
I don’t believe in staying out of holes. Risk takers and difference makers are going to jump in them from time to time. The art is in getting in and out of them quickly. Here is how I do it:
